Take a trip around the world with a magic carpet ride, or explore the sounds of nature. Can you draw a curvy pathway with your toe? Can you make a bridge with your body, and let your child sail under like a boat? Play is fundamental to learning, and this setting gives grown ups an excuse to get silly while their little ones learn all about their world!

Aha! One stop shopping for dance and arts learning: Students explore a dance concept and related art project each week, sharing new ideas in movement and art! First, get grooving with your little one! Warm up from head to toe and explore dance concepts such as energy or space. Travel the world through folkdance and explore multi-sensory equipment. Then, enjoy a gallery of open-ended projects your student creates. We'll connect our lessons with the seasons, with nature and world cultures. Your child can enjoy a creative art project, and have some fun with goopy glitter, twisty yarn and spongy paint.

A fun introduction to Creative Dance, the Sparkplug Way! Young dancers build brain connections, develop social skills, and explore movement in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Classes draw inspiration from the stories, songs, poems, and rhymes that are essential building blocks of early education.

In this class that's serious fun, dancers explore their world through movement. Each week they move to rhyming rhythms, bounce to math that moves. They move through the brain patterns that encourage cognitive development and try out new social skills as they slide, jump, or leap with a partner across the space.

Dancers engage with exciting new movement vocabulary as they approach some of the skills and terminology from ballet - creatively. Satisfies children's excitement for the style, costumes, stories and music of this important dance form, and meets caregivers' need for quality dance education for the whole child. Great for boys AND girls - no tutu required!
(5-8 years)
Dancers will explore the roots and styles of ballet, folkdance, tap, jazz, and modern dance in this lively introduction to technique, improvisation, and choreography. Perfect for the excited young mover!
